Selina Albright, Gerald Albright’s daughter, is a multi-genre vocalist and songwriter. Her versatility, soulfulness and angelic tone add character and emotion to any ballad, yet her powerful wailing and stage presence commands attention. She learned her onstage charisma and vocal technique from being exposed to legendary artists, such as Whitney Houston, Ella Fitzgerald, Lalah Hathaway and Mariah Carey. Selina has also been the featured background vocalist for some of her father’s songs and she has already written songs for him. But she has also shared stages all over the world with many artists, such as Jeff Lorber, David Benoit, Peter White, Marcus Miller, David Sanborn, Kirk Whalum, Candy Dulfer, Rick Braun, Chaka Khan, Jonathan Butler, and The Temptations. And aside from her jazz releases, Selina has also collaborated with EDM artists and DJs, such as Manufactured Superstars or Forcing Functiion. Her 2013 EP ‚Brighter‘ topped the UK Soul Chart for four weeks straight, and in 2017, she presented her debut R&B/Soul CD ‚Conversations‘. In 2020, she released the two number one hit singles ‚Discovering‘ and ‚Holding On‘.
